Field Special Inspector:

A strong resume and track record with construction projects along with extensive knowledge of the NYC building codes are essential.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a PE license (NY State) is a Minimum Requirement.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years relevant experience with HVAC, sprinkler-standpipe installations, and general construction.

Field Technician:

Each inspector will be involved with monitoring construction activities to confirm compliance with approved design documents and the New York City Department of Buildings Department, among other governing agencies.

ACI Certified Field Technician certification is a Minimum Requirement.

Familiarity with concrete core drill is a plus.

ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I, ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector, ICC Pre-stressed Concrete Special Inspector, ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector, ICC Soils Special Inspector, ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector.
