AMAA – Projects Highlights November 6th, 2023
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
New Building Structural Design - Bronx, New York
AMAA is grateful to lend their services to Crown Architectures and Consulting's 10-story, 95-unit residential building. Our structural design for the foundation and superstructure consists of reinforced concrete flat slabs supported by reinforced concrete columns and shear walls. The slope, shape, and geotechnical features of the site presented unique challenges, which AMAA enjoyed solving in collaboration with the project's design team. AMAA is proud to support the expansion of affordable, environmentally passive living in New York City.
New Building Structural Design - New Rochelle, New York
National contractor, Component Assembly Systems, has envisioned a distinctive, brand-new, two-story employee training facility for their team. The building will be comprised of office space throughout, a highly specialized equipment training space on the ground level, and double-height open conference rooms. AMAA has enjoyed designing a structure and foundation to suit the building's amorphous distinctive form in collaboration with Richard Hein Architect.
Existing Building Structural Assessment - New York
AMAA performed structural analyses of two independent buildings within the campus of a national laboratory and research complex. Our engineers developed structural assessments of the building under different natural phenomenon hazards in conformance with the modern building codes. Additionally, we performed an independent analysis and peer review of the existing steel roof structure. By doing so, our engineers could then guarantee that the detailed steel connections between the new steel dunnage and the existing roof steel structure weren't compromised.
