As our Structural Engineering division soars, we’re excited to share a few active achievements and announce the opening of AMAA’s South Florida office! AMAA’s latest beachhead is actively servicing Miami Dade through Palm Beach counties.
Our Structural Engineers are highly experienced across a broad spectrum of project type and scale. The teams are highly adept in navigating complex architectural programing and accelerated timeframes, as well as maintaining open communication throughout the project relationship.
AMAA’s new Florida office focuses on multi-family, commercial, retail, and industrial facility projects, in addition to high-end residential design. Our Florida Engineers have worked extensively in the South and Caribbean inclusive of various waterfront project sites. The team consistently demonstrates its long-honed abilities and enthusiasm to the ever-growing Florida skyline.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
New Building Structural Design - Bronx, New York

AMAA is grateful to lend their services to Crown Architectures and Consulting's 10 story, 95-unit residential building. Our structural design for the foundation and superstructure consists of reinforced concrete flat slabs supported by reinforced concrete columns and shear walls. The slope, shape, and geotechnical features of the site presented unique challenges, which AMAA enjoyed solving in collaboration with the project's design team. AMAA is proud to support the expansion of affordable, environmentally passive living in New York City.

Existing Building Structural Assessment - New York

AMAA performed structural analyses of two independent buildings within the campus of a national laboratory and research complex. Our engineers developed structural assessments of the building under different natural phenomenon hazards in conformance with the modern building codes. Additionally, we performed an independent analysis and peer review of the existing steel roof structure. By doing so, our engineers could then guarantee that the detailed steel connections between the new steel dunnage and the existing roof steel structure weren't compromised.
